Anyone knows how to say this in a polite way please?

Anyone knows how to say this in a polite way please?: "That is none of your business!"

thanx ;) PS: This is especially for at work where I try to keep work and privacy separated, or at least the subjects that are TOO private to talk about. LOL
I would just say, "I'm sorry, that's personal."
Personally, I think "none of your business," is a perfectly valid thing to say to people at work.

Just explain, as you did here, that you want to keep work and private life separate. There is nothing wrong with that.
Yeah, that's what I tend to say. "Sorry, but I like to keep work and privacy separated." I guess that's the best way to say it then.. I only stick to hobbies and what I did in the weekend (only the fun parts, I don't talk about less fun parts, if there are any LOL)
I think truth is polite. You might hurt them, slightly and temporarily, but in the long run, honest is the best policy.
I agree on that.

Just say you will not discuss that and if they act like idiots you are no longer under any obligation to be polite about it.

I'd just say 'I'm not interested in talking about that.'

Tell them to make like a tree and get outta here

Just be vague about things or reply flippantly... make an outrageous joke. They'll soon get fed up.

Just say that information is on a need to know basis...and honestly you don't need to know 😉

Just tell them not to concern themselves with it.

You could ask them what interest is it of theirs. Or why they need to know your personal history. :)

@LilyOfTheValley: lol...In my experience most people are just looking for a conversation. If your gut tells you differently than more drastic measures are called for. ;)
@LilyOfTheValley: (yep) There are some people that believe they can ask any question, even personal and intimate, and that you (we) are supposed to tell them everything. And then they become offended or hurt because you don't tell them. I said, "That's very personal information that I don't discuss. Thank you for your concern though." When they continued to press I smiled and shook my head no and said, "I'm very busy now." and continued to do what I had to do.
@softspokenman: 👍
Just glare at them or ask them an even more personal question about themselves so they get the point and shut up :)
