Do you tell anyone what presents you want for Xmas?

I have these rich inlaws that never know what to get me, so I make a list of things I want, but then never give it to them, so every year they get me a home depot gift card. Yea, pretty boring.

So have you ever showed them what you purchased using the gift card? I hope you didn't waste it on common stuff. Use the card for that something special you and your wife would appreciate and show it off big time with them.

It can be hard since there are not a lot of choices in there of things I need. Lots of home decorating ideas, like cans of paint and weed killer. Not much to call a gift, but I did buy a table drill once.

My family gets passive-aggressive if I DON'T give them one, even though they often disregard the list when buying gifts.
