Should I work as a greeter at Walmart?

In about 6 months, I will be re- entering the working world and coming out of retirement. I am 71 years old, will be 72 when I go back to work. I want a simple no brains kind of job. I need to work in the private sector for about 2 years. I don't get bored easily and can deal with stress. I have multiple college degrees but do not want to use them particularly. I am a retired teacher, but I need a job in the private sector. Night shifts or very early morning is OK. Health improving but has been shaky, stamina limited bit will be looking for full time work. Look good for my age.

Why not? The chief of police in my town retired to work as a Red Hat at the airport. The hours were right, it kept him busy, and no stress. He loved it.

Why would you wanna work again at your age ?

@greenmountaingal: that's so unfair to you. You should be allowed to retire in peace

@juiceyangel333: There are two bills in Congress right now to amend the Windfall Provision. One is sponsored by Democrats, one by Republicans. Either one would be an improvement.

@greenmountaingal: it's quite awful

Sure, why not? If you want to keep things simple then that's certainly an option.
