If you can't hold a conversation with someone you like are they still your friend?

I have friend who just listens, doesn't talk, she's my best friend actually

My best conversations haven't necessarily been with my friends; some have been total strangers or people I'm meeting for the first time. There are some friends that have so much on their minds and things going on in their lives, they can't give me their full attention, and at times, I'm probably guilty of the same.

Yes, if I like them I still consider them a friend.
