Why do 2 of my "friends" claim to be upper middle class but are 29 living at home & sleep in bunk beds?

Cause they don't want to admit they're broke af lol

I'm not middle class. Well maybe lower middle class.
Which means we got enough to pay the bills and save a little for a rainy day, but I can't take a vacation on a whim lol
