What is easier to understand. Metric or Imperial?

Imperial

Metric falls apart when we start to move between weights, mass and energy

The tables we always need are never in a metric form we can use ... so, it just wastes time.

Barrels relate to gallons which relate to BTUs ... which relate to degrees ... which go into formulas built for BTUs, degrees F, HP, feet, lift and pressures (psi)

It is a waste to translate it into liters, joules ...etc ... unless the tables use those measures.

@questionWeaver: Don't feel bad. Metric was brought into effect here in 76 and I still use imperial for weight and height

Imperial, if that's pounds ounces, gallons etc.

@crabbyhermit: Metric is easier. I grew up learning both.
Socialclutz · 36-40, M
No definitely not. Imperial just makes more sense to me.

@crabbyhermit: Celcius is easier. 0 is freezing point. - or + makes it simple

Metric in theory, but I was raised with Imperial.
MikefromEP · 51-55, M
I was raised with both. Metric is easier I think
MyNameIsHurl · 41-45, F
Yeah, it's far more logical.

I grew up on Imperial, but I can use either one. Both easy to understand, I guess metric.
Metric. Everything is in groups of 10's...
None of this 2.2 kilos = 1 pound garbage lol

Metric. It's more consistent. Imperial is too random.

Metric imo.

Metric is much nicer to use.
