How would you feel if you ruined somebody's life?

[image]You try to apologise but that doesn't fix the malicious act.. They are scarred for life and they weren't even a bad person just a quiet introvert with a poor background.

They just become unresponsive to the World, stop eating, stop thinking, their very character is gone.
You'd be surprised how resilient the human spirit is. What's done is done. It doesn't make, nor mean, it was right, but you can't go back now. You've asked for forgiveness and if it was not received that's not your fault. That's their responsibility, what they want to do with that. If it were me, I'd say I was sorry, not repeat the act ever again, try to make amends however possible, try to better myself emotionally, see where I could stand improvement, then move on with my life. I'd stay away from that person, probably, so as not to bring them bad memories or hurt them again.
What makes you think you ruined this person's life?

I believe haven't ruined somebody's life 🤗.
If you are misleading somebody do not think of them as a big fool but rather think of how they trusted in you.

I'd never do that but to answer your question I'd to anything that will help improve their condition

Would probably feel weird to know that a simple action can have such life-altering consequences. I'd probably feel pretty powerful about that.

I want to say that I would try to help, but knowing myself, I'd probably distance myself from the entire situation and live on. Out of sight, out of mind.
Oh well. Whats done is done.
