Could you be arrested for being too kind?

FurryFace · 61-69, M
in Orlando Florida a couple of years ago the cops arrested people for feeding the homeless and the Poor , i think they've changed the laws since then , created quite a stink on youtube and the media

@FurryFace: The story was featured on Bizarre Foods...Andrew Zimnerm went with that group and they got the food from foraging restaurant dumpsters, it was all vegetarian stuff they too, whole unopened cases in some instances....

@cherokeepatti: i've never found good food in Restaurant bins where i live , its all absolute rubbish , i don't even look in house owners stuff either they're too cheap to throw anything good out

@FurryFace: This was raw uncooked produce, like 20 pounds or more of bananas or other fruit...they'd cook banana bread out of them and they weren't like squishy rotten, just a few brown dots on them, cases of lettuce or whatever, assorted fruits that they'd make fruit salad out of...all kinds of veggie stuff.. I think when the restaurants had slow business and didn't use all their produce and a new shipment came in they'd toss what was in the refrigerator, these people go to the restaurants that throw the best food out on a frequent basis. And San Francisco is probably the best-known city for having so many restaurants, all kinds.

Yes. This would be possible - that's for sure!
I was married with a criminal for two years - without to know what he is doing! If I would have been longer together with him I am sure the police would have arrested me at least for a while because the way how I am kind and naive it's almost incredible! 😕

i'm sorry for you :(
There is genuine kindness. and then there are shallow people who will take advantage of your kindness. To be kind doesn't mean to be a doormat or slave to others. It is not a crime to be kind, but if you deceive or fraud someone for personal gain by using false pretenses, that is against the law.
popmol · 22-25, M
ooh i did not know
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Oh yeah for doing a favor for someone especially someone you don't know well....like putting an object of theirs in your suitcase or carry-on bag because they told you it made their bag go overweight...you could potentially get arrested for drug smuggling.

wouldn't want to get caught in Turkey with Hashish , yeah i watched that movie Midnight Express

@FurryFace: I was in the Marrakech airport waiting to leave and talked to a lady who told me that some months earlier there was a woman waiting for to go through the screening in the waiting area and she put her book on a seat and left to use the restroom, came back and read the book, as she was walking through the flight screening they got her for having LSD microdots in her book. Apparently someone watched her and inserted it in her book (and was probably going to figure a way to retrieve it after they went through screening)....the lady said the only reason she didn't get arrested was that the security cameras recorded this other person inserting the microdots in the book... And this was an airport where cats roamed in and out of all the time.

@cherokeepatti: That's really, really scary! 😨
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
hasn't that happened?

reports of people saving someone from a life and death incident only to be arrested, charges pressed and sued to pieces later?

that would be an example.
popmol · 22-25, M
since when i never heard of that?
taintedprincess · 46-50, F
