Why are some people so insensitive about the death of a loved one?

Yes death is part of life but thay doesn't mean you have to be a jerk about it. I lost my grandfather two years ago and a girl that used to be my friend was so insensitive. She was nice but then like a week later she wanted me to come over to her house to get my mind off if things. She got so rude, insulted me and manipulated me and didn't care how I felt. She even shoves and scolded at me to stop crying and people die and get the hell over it. She says she hates it when people make a big deal about someone dying and people crying so hard about it.
People have different responses to grief and to death. Some people just want to move on quickly and not linger on it. Other people are really bad at comforting people and think that the best way they can help is by encouraging them to move on. It is true, people die...
Yes but people don't need to be rude and made the person feel worse. This girl had no right to be so rude and aggressive towards me. She gave me SUCH a hard time when my grandfather passed.
@BigDana27: I am not saying that the girl was right or did right. I don't know what happened or what was said or what led up to it. I am saying that some people prefer to move on quickly and thus it is hard for them to deal with people that need to grieve longer.
Oh okay my bad
I think she was afraid to face her own feelings about death.
