@MirusMe: no. Not on a first date. Actually not on any date, but I got smart and started having my dates pick me up from work or a friend's house so we would actually get to go out. My dad was a super nice guy. And a very interesting person to talk to. And he really liked people. If a guy picked me up at home, mom would make coffee and we'd all sit at the kitchen table gabbing for hours. It was nice. It was great. Not one of the guys I ever dated complained. Everybody loved my parents. But, hey, if I was hoping to go out dancing, it wasn't going to happen in my parents kitchen.
