Do you ever ask questions you already know the answer to

They say lawyers only ask questions they already know the answer to.

I asked what's 1+1 when the Best Answer feature came, but nobody else here knew the right answer so I couldn't award it.

I know the answer I'm likely to go with, or what my answer would be. so.. kinda?
