Why are you afraid of Donald Trump

Do you think he'll take away you & your parents food stamps...
I'm not afraid of him. He just doesn't seem very bright. Tis concerning.

He was born rich. That isn't impressive.
CaptainCanadia · 41-45, M
You think people who are rich are smart? You just vote for whoever made the most money?
AlienZipper · 61-69, M
Gotta love all the political experts in here with their ability to foretell America's doomed future under Trump, lol...

@LadyJuneBug: That's true...

I'm just weary of all the hysteria and doomsday mentality surrounding this man...Things usually don't turn out as bad as they imagine...
Nebula · 41-45, F
That mouth. If he can offend Americans, you can only imagine how the rest of the world feels.

People get offended by everything now a days. Everyone has become spoiled and feel entitled.
@Kinevil: I suppose I understand where you're coming from, but that sap is crude and blatantly disrespectful.
Nebula · 41-45, F
Yeah, a lot of countries are deeply offended by our way of life in general though
Loretta78 · 46-50, F
I am afraid especially for a growing racism in USA. My best friend, who lives there, has 5 colored kids.
And I am still afraid for more things: Economics, health care, and whatever the new president will get still more "great" ideas. Actually I mustn't be afraid because I am living far away from USA but whatever will happen there (good things and bad things) is like it will happen to ME because I am very, very closed to my friend there.
Marceline · F
he is gonna ruin workers rights, the job market, how america is viewed by other countries, literally kill thousands of people that rely on healthcare, destroy the economy and harm the enviroment.

but if thats the price people are willing to pay to deal with some immigrants thats fine
SW-User
I'm paying fees on healthcare that I don't even have! And I can't land a job as a Veteran. I'd take a change. 😉
CaptainCanadia · 41-45, M
Nah, I'm Canadian and doing pretty well.

I am pretty sure that Trump and his team are going to destroy the American public sector. Which will lead to some problems.
Lizabee · F
It's just the whole Republican Party that seems to want children to go hungry and sick...nothing to see here
Lizabee · F
@LadyJuneBug: you miss the point

@lacsar: no...I really don't

We gave Barack Obama a chance, and rightly so. I don't see why we can't do the same for Donald Trump, considering that he won the election.
SW-User
@Lizabee: pay attention? I only watch the news every night.

@TS1988: perhaps you should branch out

I think they overestimate him and his abilities by thinking he will destroy the country and the world and the universe and I don't know what else. One human being cannot stand against millions. Life will go on..
He has a lot of people behind him who believe the same things he does.
Hitler was only one man, too, but he had a massive following.

@AmbivalentFriability: I think that as a businessman, he will know how to get things done. He says he wants to make America great again. Let's give him the chance. He talks tough and smooth when he feels necessary. I feel he will be a good president. Just.... an intuition
Sicarium · 46-50, M
They've just bought into the fear mongering like good, obedient sheeple.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@luckranger71: Be honest for once, if you ran across someone who really believed Obama was going to implement Sharia law, would you not say they were buying into fear mongering? How is that any different than "Trump wants all sick people to die" and "Trump is going to take away the citizenship of every Hispanic."? Because from where I'm sitting, there isn't any difference at all.
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
@Sicarium: Great. We agree. Those who think that Trump is going to take the citizenship of every Hispanic are just as nuts as those who believe that Obama was born in Kenya and was going to take our guns. Of course the President Elect was the prime mover of all that birther bullshit, so we'll also have to take that into account.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@luckranger71: Prime mover. Sure. If you ignore Hillary at least.
SW-User
Not afraid of the guy. More afraid what hell he be raising up, it not the person it what he will bring out in the fellow Americans
SW-User
We'll give him a chance. If he turns out to be a disaster for this country, I'll vote for someone else the next time.
My parents are dead and I dont get food or insurance so he cant hurt me
