Cursing in a foreign language doesn't feel the same.

There are things I say in English that I would never say in my mother tongue without feeling bad.

When I was a kid I would occasionally save my "bad" words for Creole, because my schoolmates and teachers didn't understand. But "the gig was up" when a French boy (who understood the dialect) transferred in.

I mainly cuss in English but I can cuss when speaking Tagalog without any issue.
