he could be, but is there some reason to think so? If his family is there, he might be reluctant to have you meet them yet, due to the age differential

Well it sounds to me fairly genuine, that he doesnt want to introduce you to his family yet (always a scary thing), but equally he's really hot for you so he's willing to spend on a motel room rather than miss out on the chance of being with you. At least, on the information available, that sounds most likely.

Lol he told me his family is coming over this upcoming weekend when I asked if I could spend the night then he said he'd get a motel for us if his family is coming over why is he gonna spend time with me on that day
