Am I crazy for not liking Beyonce or...?

Everyone I know likes Beyonce and is obsessed with everything she does and I can't name a single song of hers (other than Destiny's Child songs but even then Beyonce wasn't my favorite out of the members) nor do I care what she wore to the awards or how she dances in her music videos that I haven't seen any of. to clarify I don't dislike her, I just don't like her either. I don't see the big deal in her. Please tell me someone else feels the same way?

In general you don't have to be into all the same stuff that your friends are into! It's a big world full of all kinds of things to be interested in each in our own way.

I feel slightly less crazy then. I think I tend to not like most overrated celebrities because I feel the hype is always bigger than the talent is worth.

You're being real, not crazy. She's overrated and the "Bey Hive" is probably a bunch of hyperactive people obsessed with her, there are many less popular singers with a voice better than hers.

Nah... She's always been overrated in my book. So you're not alone there... To me it was funny when her and Jay-z got together cuz I felt they were both overrated in their music careers.. So I got to enjoy the irony of it all...

I mean, if others like her then the do. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure I like artists that other people commonly don't like. But yes, she is more bubblegum pop from what I've been told and I'm not big on that type of music.
