I'm amazed on how birds can fly

So what if they flap their wings, theres more science attached to my question
Absolutely!! It is something wonderful to think about.

I have always thought there was some hidden science inside the way bird wings are put together. Probably the way they move through the air has something to do with the complexity of their feathered wings altering the air density and then pumping underneath their bird bodys. Sort of like swimming, but through the air. Then when they get moving fast enough they can glide over it.

There is something more to it though. When you hold a pet bird by it's feet and it flaps it's wings the noises generated by the wings is really loud. Then when you watch it fly the sound seems lots quieter. And outside most often you only hear a pop when they fly away. So there's some sonic anti-gravity playing a part in there too maybz.

I wouldn't expect anyone soon to take that seriously though since these days all the scientists seem to think they already know everything there is to know.

Think of their wings as prop blades taking a chunk of air and displacing it to get forward thrust. Also it allows air to travel across their wings creating lift. But that forward thrust will be created into lift once the bird gets enough speed and the flapping slows down just enough to maintain level flight
