@SeductiveCactus: I'm guessing you hooked an ethernet cable directly from your computer up to your modem? The modem is the box that provides the Wi-Fi

There's nothing wrong with the data. Its something to do with the actual connection. I just spent an hour on the phone

@SeductiveCactus: I was saying without WiFi you must be using your data plan. If WiFi isn't working it can only be either the modem or the wireless router. If its one device or 2 by process of elimination you may have to figure out whats not working. (Unless someone forgot to pay the bill)

OHHHH well atm I'm just using my phone data and its not on a plan, it's pre-paid.
Yeah the company sent out another modem, and it still won't work so I was thinking it might be this other thing. Its hard to explain when I don't know what its called aha
