My father was drafted out of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (son of Russian immigrants, full scholarship after honors at Brooklyn Technical High School) to crawl through Europe, fight in the Battle of the Bulge, bleed, starve, be in the first army unit to liberate Buchenwald. No way to continue his education when he returned. He sold suntan lotion at the beach in Brooklyn, finally opened a machine shop. For twenty years he hired blacks and latino immigrants and taught them how to be machinists, out of goodness, and sent them on to better jobs. He never got a tax break or any help from government, just put out of business when they fucked with steel prices. And he continued to work hard. My father did not fight so this piece of human garbage, this rapist, racist, misogynist, cheater, user, liar, conman, criminal, hater, screwer of the poor and vulnerable, tax evader, could live in the White House with his endangered species hunting mind bogglingly ignorant deceitful classless family. Fuck you if you voted for him. Never return to this page. You didn't buy a ticket to this page and I have no interest in your stupidity, nor any obligation to entertain you, so get going. Enjoy the coming financial depression, the world going up in flames. He aint gonna make ya rich bubba. But you're gonna have a lot more kids than you were expecting. And when he leaves, he's going to have all the money in the whole world, just like Marcos, Putin, Arafat, Mugabe, Bashir, etc. etc. And then you can laugh, deal? Veterans deserved better from this country.

War is an endless cycle of pain and death and being proud of your traumatized abused ancestors. Let's just face it. Real live war is never honorable. Granted, that guy your killing might be more evil than you could ever imagine, but you are still causing him tremendous pain and suffering. There are better ways than war. It's called communication and using your intelligence.

Yeah, I honestly don't want to die in a war I don't volunteer for. It never dawned upon me how horrifying the draft would be in reality and how easily it could be used, until I had to register for it. Nonstop gunfire and explosions and people screaming at me and around me is not something I would be proud to volunteer for either. It frightens me when I see those commercials with army people, and I'm thinking "they're all so ready to die a traumatic painful death in war."

Nothing whatsoever. Honestly who goes around trumpeting American patriotism nowadays. Like I'm gonna bleed red white and blue for my country! I hate that mentality. I think it's called nationalism. It's useful for if you need to declare war on another country and you need people willing to die to fight in it.
