Is the majority of your cooking with more fresh ingredients or processed and frozen ones?

cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
fresh ingredients, although I do use some processed items such as cheese, tomato sauce, etc. When I make soups at home I use fresh tomatoes, as much fresh veggies as possible.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@cherokeepatti: oh yes I agree..
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Primnproper: think it's just a matter of priorities...I'd rather have scrambled eggs or a homemade sandwich for dinner than something from McDonald's if I'm in a hurry.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@cherokeepatti: absolutely..
Lots of fresh stuff and very few processed.
Primnproper · 56-60, F

what is your favorite thing to make if i may ask miss?
Carver · 31-35, F
Fresh. The only frozen or processed food I buy anymore is DiGiorno frozen pizzas and I only eat that when I'm too lazy to cook.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Good for you..☺
Thodsis · 51-55, M
Mostly fresh. There is something wonderful about oven chips, fishfingers and baked beans that I've never been able to match though.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
I only eat homemade wedges as I don't cry anything and the oven ones give me indigestion..love fish fingers and baked beans are good for you for fibre..

Processed. I can't afford fresh ones. They demand inhumane prices for them.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Guess we are reasonably lucky here..
GunFinger · F
Mostly fresh. I like the taste and they have the nutrients my baby and I need.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Good for you..
Bean17 · 46-50, F
Fresh. Although you can't go wrong with frozen fruits and veggies either.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Fair comment..
Myzery · 41-45, F
Majority is fresh.
Although I am a huge fan of frozen diced onions. 😂
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Oh yes can be much easier if you don't use them on a regular basis..
Renikari · F
Processed and frozen. I can't afford fresh ingredients.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
The Same for many..
Sepia · 36-40, F
Mostly fresh..I rarely use preserves
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Definitely healthier..
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Is it because it's more convenient?
goagainsttheflow · 26-30, F
@Primnproper: Yeah, it lasts longer too. The fresh ones I buy are organic so they go bad quickly.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@goagainsttheflow: oh I see..
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Fair enough..
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
Fresh when I can. Off season - frozen.
