Do you finish reading a novel even if you're not into it?

Or just never finish it?

No, I rarely finish any book that loses my interest. There are a few million books in English out there. I can always find another one that's worth reading. Life is too short to read anything that doesn't interest me or has nothing useful for me. I think reading a book that doesn't interest you is a bad habit picked up in school when we were forced to read things we did not want to read; it promotes a sense of duty about reading. Literature does not judge us; we judge it.

I do finish every book. Some might take months yo finish a book, but it feels weird when you cannot get to the end of the book

I don't finish it if I'm not into it. I just move on to something else.

I prefer to read to the end.
