how long to you leave your response if it remains unhearted or unanswered , i give it 2 days , then i delete it , i'm not answering stuff for nothing

I leave it there. But if it is someone who regularly ignores what I answer I stop answering their qns.
There have been some times when I notice everyones answer has been acknowledged except mine and if I am in a bad mood I will delete mine.

I don't check them once I've answered. Like someone else said, sometimes a response comes weeks later. By then I've forgotten the point I was making and have read the whole thread again.

Honestly I don't have time to check. I also feel like part of answering questions is for myself, not only for the asker.
Often I will get satisfaction just from typing out how I feel about certain situations, etc. It doesn't really matter to me if someone else reads it or agrees with it.
It was a nice thing to do in the moment!
