for people who want weed legalized do you believe that it will stop crime?

If we really wanted to stop crime we'd invent a time machine and go back in time to stop prohibition.

No of course not. I think it is wrong for someone who smokes weed to stand the risk of getting a criminal record for that. If alcohol is legal then weed should be legal.

Here is an interesting statistic. In USA about 6 people die per day from an alcohol overdose. The amount of people who die from an overdose of weed is ZERO.

It'll cut the profit of drug cartels massively, and it will stop people having to go to dealers in order to get it in the first place. Thus not getting numbers for other things and falling into that group of people.

There is a connection between prohibition, black markets, money profits from the black market and crime associated with fighting over that money.
