Would this intrigue you to read? (Its only a base so no one can steal details lol)

Short summery:

A girl that has awoken to no memories but new found abnormal abilities finds herself in a place with other unique individuals and gets caught up in civil war that has broken out in a gigantic city that has survived in a world once destroyed by war.
Along the way she gains knowledge of her powers, creates allies, even friends, and hopes to find her lost memories all while trying to not only fight against the brutal darkness within the city, but the darkness growing within herself...

Pain is not equivalent to work. Maximum Ride involved kids that had experiments performed on them. I even criticize Dickens and Shakespeare so trust that I have considered everything you said before I posted.

Well not to get into details, but the gift is there cause pain and suffering and they have to work hard to even use the so called gift.
