When people don't show their gender or age?

The messages I was getting before were from people that were messaging a 22-26 F with the hopes of who knows what happening. It's basically the best spam filter I've managed to find so far.

Yes I will agree and take a step back. I do see with women it is an issue. It is very unfortunate.

And while on this topic, do you really think that just because someone puts a certain age next to their username, as well as a gender that they automatically are those things? People are always joking on this site about cat fishing, fake accounts and creepy old men pretending to be young girls. If you really want to know someone read their stories and pay attention to their responses. Put some effort in. Don't write people off based on something so trivial, and don't assume nasty things like we're trying to "hide". Maybe we just don't want unwanted attention from creeps who are only after one thing.

@abe182: Countless times I have caught men lying about their gender to prey on women. Do you actually think just because an age or an F or M is beside the name that it is a fact?
