Do you at least try to lessen your impact on the environment?

I think we have the ability to influence those folks around us that look to us for inspiration. Consequently, they also have the ability to influence those around them that look to them for inspiration.

That said, I don't feel responsible, but I understand my actions have consequences.

But where have you been?

@Originalme: You're a horrible judge of character. I love that! ☺️

I'm just kidding. 😉

20 seconds in and I'm already loving it!
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
I dont believe that we are affecting it that much to be honest. Its a natural cycle.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
like with all problems of the world i think it's more boogyman politics.

red herrings to avoid the real issues of our times.
Originalme · 26-30, F
I think this is the only real issue we're not discussing enough. Pollution of the environment is a gradual process,not something that takes effect immediately. People don't think ahead for let's say 100 years because they would probably be dead by then and they simply DON'T CARE! I do agree that there are people taking advantage of the situation but to disregard the whole situation as a minor problem while SCIENCE is proving the opposite is ludicrous and irresponsible.

@KingofPizza: Not sure why you deleted your comment but I haven't(seen the picture I mean). I am aware that cattle is one of the largest contributor of global warming. Here's an article published by the UN.

Of course. I feel like we all are--to varying degrees.
lorne13 · 61-69, M
everyone has contributed a little but since the main cause is the burning of fossil fuels a lot of the blame has to got to people in government who subsidize the oil industry instead of fighting for the planet

I'm just reading responses from people who said ''no ''and facepalming myself. I can't believe there are people who destroy this planet with their actions (we all are except people who are living primitively) and take no responsibility for it or at least try to lessen their impact. I've officially lost a little hope I had for human race and its sanity.
