What is the most hurtful thing someone could say to you?

It's been done, my ex husband after 18 yrs saying he never loved me..I can take anything after that..

"You are nothing!" it's even more hurtful because it comes from my dad

Really? It isn't anything about me. But carrying stories about my kids for no reason except to see me hurt. That's the meanest.

One girl came to my house and said she wanted to talk to me. She was my daughters friend, so I let her in, even though I disliked her, I figured, if she needed advice or help with something, I'd hear her out.

She began by saying "I don't want to turn you against Denni, or make you hate her".

I stopped her right there. I asked her what gave her the idea she had that much power. Where she got the idea that anything she could tell me might make me hate my own kid. She flounced out saying fine if you don't want to know........

I didn't want to know. And now, 22 years later, I still don't know what she wanted to say. And I still love my daughter. She couldn't have said anything that could stop my love. But the idea that she would even try, hurt like hell.

Either calling me a liar or telling me that I'm right and I have always been right.

You seem like a normal human. WOW do I dislike that line...

That there's nothing they like about me. NOTHING at all. They're doing me a favor by talking to me, I guess?

Anyway, I feel like they talk to me because they're trying to be nice not because they are excited to do something with me. Its just because they're nice. NOT because there's something in me that they like.

That I am unkind- or don't care.
