Any other aging ol' hippies here?

I confess, I had the bell bottoms, the hair, and the blousey sleeved tie dyed shirts. really very "Far out man" Someone said, "If you remember the 60's you weren't there" lol
@boldtimer~I love your spirit and energy, I really do believe there was a shift in the "stream of consciousness" that in spite of "redneck" thinking has brought us closer to our "humanness" I talk to young people embrace and respect that era. Glad you are still carry our banner high. ("high" bening the operant word lol)馃槆

Definitely an old hippy here, still am. Got all the crap from people because of my bells and hippy boots. Flag tee, long hair, pill poppin, dope smoking acid head hippy. Use to love when some redneck wood whistle at my hair and I would turn and give him a nice sexy wink. Still a dope smoker, tequila drinkin, long haired freak. Will die with my hair, don't do the boots anymore.

I was part of fourteen of us. We seldom associated with very many other young ones. Kept younger brothers and sisters out. Where we lived there were so many freaks busted for drugs and main narc cop turned many into narcs. So we stayed pretty close together. Being near DC meant we knew the people running stuff to DC so I had access to clean stuff, pure as can be made. Had a hell of a time. I am the only one of the group that held true. The rest went for the money and possessions I've done what I loved, and stayed free.
Nimbus, Yippies then became yuppies, me?...Imma jes an old puppy. LOL

Thanks Bijoux, I was thinking Andy Warhol.
The late, great Robin Williams said it. But I remember, too.
