Do you ever get an alert that you were disconnected from SimilarWorlds when in fact you didn't?

Yes, that alert is currently showing at the bottom of my screen.. but here I am :-)

The site interacts with your PC/phone/tablet even when you're not noticably active (for notifications and a few other things). That's what gets switched off. Sometimes you have to hit enter twice because of that, but apart from that and notifications it doesn't really affect the functionality for you. Any activity should reconnect you.

Really? I think that's only because of the alert

I think they disconnect in between to save bandwidth but in most cases it should switch back as soon as you're active again (when you enter anything or change or refresh pages).
