Could energy be created by concentrating on a collective idea at a precise time?

If it were possible to get a substantive number of people to think about the precise same thing at precisely the same time, would the concentrated electrical impulses that the human brain creates generate any thought-energy that could be felt, collectively?
Goggle Global Consciousness Project.
It had irregular pattern spikes when presented with a global event (positive or negative)

Well, just for discussion purposes, let's say it is possible. I genuinely don't know if it is or not. Hermit says probably not; some others claim it's already been proven. But, if it were, could we use that energy to direct some type of change? I mean... channel the energy to cause some social change to occur? I don't know, I may be going down an illogical path. It's just something crazy I was thinking about...

Wow... so much for thinking I had an original idea... :-) I mean :-(

Yeah, that's an interesting point... assuming the myth of weather rituals has some basis in reality instead of it being a common coincidence. But, that is a good example of using a collective mind-share to achieve an outcome (if that is what is actually happening).

I wish I were smart enough to answer this, but it would be interesting if that were possible. What could we do with that energy? lol
A thought has a physical presence. It's been measured.
What you say, shamans have been doing for millennias now. Weather rituals.

There have been quite a few studies on this, it's shown to be effective.
Definitely. It's been proven.

Yes, it's been proven. My doctor told me about it, I think there's a link on guardian.com
