Why are some people so down on Catholics,they are Christians also? [Spirituality & Religion]

The problem with what people see in the "catholic church" is that what you think is the catholic church is not. When John XXIII was elected, he had been automatically excommunicated from the Church because he was associated with the Masons. Then, he called the Vatican2 council which changed many of the beliefs, and destroyed the Institutional Church When Paul VI was in charge, he got rid of the Mass and substituted what is called the Novus Ordo (New Order) mass, which is invalid. From there, it has all gone down hill as far as the church that people think is the catholic church. Actually, the man called pope Francis is not a validly ordained pries and cannot under any circumstances be a pope. There is a Catholic Church which is not easy to find and growing, group by group, church by church. Remember, Jesus, Himself, questioned whether there will be any faith left when He returns.

Not all catholics are Christian. Christian means you look to Jesus Christ as your salvation in all things. The pope looks to socialism to solve the worlds problems which is why I doubt that he is truly Christian. I don't doubt that John Paul II was Christian and that Mother Theresa was Christian but not so with Francis.

Yes. Christians are people who believe in Jesus Christ. ??? God fearing people.

Truly religious people don't judge though. Because we ourselves are not perfect.

There are many sincere individuals who are of the Catholic faith. However, some know that the Catholic church is based on "traditions of men" as well as false teachings that are not supported by God's Word.

i dont have anything against catholics but its the catholic church that bothers me,the abuse of children & the cover ups of the same is unexeptable
