Is Jehovah, and Allah the same God? [Spirituality & Religion]

and christianantiy and islam mans way of explaining the one true God
saintsong · 41-45, F
I do believe that they may be one in the same, the God of Abraham, Jew Muslim, Christian.....I believe that they are just different avenues to please God, I believe that there are heavenly angels helping Gods people including the athiest....I believe that God created each and everyone of us, and it is man who wars against each other because of their beliefs...I also believe that Jesus Christ is Gods only begotten son, when the muslims believe that he was just a prophet, so man was in error there......We are all brothers and sisters of the human race, and there is only one God, the creator of heaven and earth....I am a Christian, but when I think of Allah and Jehovah, they both bring me the fragrance of life.

something like that , i'm sure if i studied the Koran i'd find a lot of similarities with the Bible however i see the bible or the written word as a stepping stone to bring you to the living word

The God of Islam is more akin to that of Judaism: fearsome and intolerant. The God of Christianity has a friendlier feel. I personally think that founders of religions stamp their own personality on God- so Jesus was probably a nicer person than the others.

The friendliness is MAN MADE.

Yea that's true. The only thing that makes things complicated is that the God from Christianity has two different yet "equal" personalities

Interesting question. I wonder the same thing and whether, collectively, all the Pagan gods explain the same thing also.

Yes. The religions and worship are different because the sects are man made and controlled. However there is only 1 creator. Religion is simply a way of fighting for control.
Some would say that every religion in the world (ultimately) worships the same god from a philosophical point of view.

You do you. I don't feel like arguing today okay?
Not really. The two religions have different views of God.

@faefairy: Views are the substance of God-belief. It's not like asking if two people point to different sides of an elephant is it the same elephant.

The messenger dons the image of God.
I put everything on Jesus, for me there is no close second.

They don't...😷

"God" is just a name given to the indescribable force of the universe. We try to define it by saying it's this or that.

No. Allah is a false God. Jehovah is the true God.
