I Have Controlling Parents

Yes and no. I have a stepmom I don't really talk too who thought a good punishment for wetting the bed was to confiscate my video games and stuff, but my dad just has issues letting me take risks when it comes to some things. He doesn't like me changing my own oil and stuff for example.

But my mom has issues with personal space and privacy
She keeps trying to do my laundry amd she likes to go into my room to ch3ck for dishes or laundry even though I'm in my 20's and doesn't llike the fact that I don't dislike being hugged. Her girlfriend though is prethamds off
As long as I'm respectful and pay the rent she's content to leave me be when it comes to my own issues.

My parents are protective of me, but at the same time, they respect my privacy.
