Were Trump and his cohorts in collusion with the Russians to help swing the election his way ?

firefall · 61-69, M
At this point, I think that's become undeniable.

@luckranger71: His tweet this morning , and Spicer's contention later , that the leaks are of more importance and greater concern are risible.
G W Bush advised Obama on taking office : Don't piss off the intelligence services.
That guy wasn't so dumb after all. ;)
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
@pezzza: Yes. If this had happened under a Hillary administration, there would already be 20 Republican investigations taking place.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@luckranger71: And just imagine if she had been as reckless as he was at Mar A Lago ?!
There's no doubt about it. Our POTUS is Hillary Clinton!
Cierzo · M
@RootinTootinHighFalutin: And even if he is impeached, Pence and the great Bannon will be there.

@Cierzo: Don't try to discuss facts with these people. Some libs can be reasonable, and some are obviously delusional.
@Cierzo: Okay, now I can't take you seriously.

His cohorts maybe, but not Trump. He's just a bobbing head in so deep he can't even tell which way is up.

@Jackjjacksonjr: Fascinating. Now that it appears clear there's a problem with the media's image (which would render the media, by its nature, silent), maybe people should look into the reasons for this. I highly suspect many people believe the media to be dishonest by virtue of suggestion, not because it actually is. That which we don't agree with we often call bad information.

I think we've got a problem with trust overall in the country. We are a suspicious people, and not without good reason.

@pezzza: It's good to be armed with facts and information; it's the only way debate will ever provide usable results.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Oconnor: You can find any number of'facts' on the internet to support a viewpoint. It's generally just confirmation bias and ultimately meaningless. If people are confident in their assertions then they should have no need to resort to them. Just like Trump , whatever doesn't support their argument they simply label fake news. It's a childish game that I want no part of.

@pezzza: No, facts are not confirmation bias and not meaningless. Data, pattern, objective analysis...this is what makes up truth.

I'd suggest getting all one's information online is a dangerous line to walk if you're looking for truth. And while cherry-picking information in an attempt at confirmation bias might pass for debate, there's enough factual data out there to delineate the truth from lie. Promoting the dissemination of factual data is the cornerstone of scientific research.

That rant aside, you are 100% correct about Trump. The administration's policy seems to be, "Say it and it will be so." Very much not so.

Sure is adding up, isn't it?
Even today he signed legislation to repeal an Obama regulation that required energy companies to disclose their payments to foreign governments.
I think Russia is a foreign government.
My feeling is that the onion layers are only just starting to be peeled. He's been in total support of Russia since he announced his run. That's not an accident
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
And overnight reports would seem to confirm what everybody suspected all along. This could amount to treason.
Ynotisay · M
@pezzza: I've got to guess there's going to be much more coming out. Now we'll see if the "patriots" walk the walk. America First, right? Yeah. We'll see.
Cierzo · M
No. Reality is hard. Next American election not until 2020. Le Pen and Wilders with chances of getting power in Europe. The sooner you accept it the better.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@pezzza: obviously the answer is no to that ridiculous question. There is a written documentation that CNN and the DNC broke the rules in their unsuccessful attempt to foist Mrs Clinton on the American people. What are your stances on those issues? (This should be good lol) 👀
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Jackjjacksonjr: So this whole shitstorm engulfing him right now is just more fake news ?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@pezzza: The president is obviously under heavy media attack and in the case of General Flynn there appears to have been a problem. Despite that the Pressient's agenda is movely forward quickly. Almost all cabinet nominees have been confirmed. The SC nominee will be confirmed.

Was pezzza dropped on his head as a baby?
@pezzza: But he is an obnoxious little prick...

I can't say because I didn't inform myself enough about Warren.
@Jackjjacksonjr: Jesus. How old are you? Let me give you some advice (FREE OF CHARGE) If you want an adult discussion, TRY to use your words to articulate your opinions. We are not in nursery school. The majority of us have evolved past picture books. This is the type of shit I expect from my 7 year old.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@plainspoken: Your advice is worth your fee I suppose. No need to make gratuitous personal attacks or use curse words. I'll add you to the angry democrat liberal list. How did Valentin's Day treat you?
