Have your political beliefs changed much in the last couple of years?

I was just becoming ever more cynical and disinterested since 2001 ..... and then along came Trump. If nothing else , it has re-ignited my loathing of the right in a way I could barely have imagined. Anyone with a shred of decency or compassion should feel outraged by this abomination.

I have views on both ends of the spectrum depending on what we're talking about and they haven't really changed. But I sure as hell don't want to associate myself with the left these days.

No I still consider 99% of politicians to be liars.

As a young man I was cynical of capitalism and the free market and such. I've found that as I learn more I'm becoming generally more favorable toward it, with certain cautions of course. I figured that I was slowly drifting more in line with the right, but then...now look at what's going on! Half the right is hollering about ditching free trade deals and throwing up tariffs! Now I don't know where my economic ideas belong, right or left? Good thing I never registered with either party anyway.

I lost all understanding of what conservatism and liberalism is. So, that's something...😐

I think I've become more liberal than I was a couple of years ago.

I've changed from being a social democrat to a socialist. To the left to the left... everything you own in a box to the left...

I have become more sarcastic than serious because of the lack of seriousness in politics

Not really. Same basic beliefs but my understanding of them and the world has matured.
