If Trump is a narcissitic fascist dictator (in the making) as alleged, why would he maintain a Twitter?

I thought about this when one of my pilot buddies mentioned that he trolls Trumps twitter all the time.

Think about it, one of the first things to go in an authoritarian society is comedy. Because that leadership won't allow itself to be criticized, and that is one of the primary targets of comedy.

So why would Trump keep a Twitter profile that would allow him to be trolled on a constant basis?

One, he's a narcissist and not entirely in control of his impulses.

Two, he disseminates information when, how and in the manner he likes. It's not the mark of an oppressor that he not be funny. It's the mark of an oppressor to refuse to allow humor freely. He simply plans to quiet those making too much noise and he'll try any way he can.

It's a pity those who suffer with narcissism (or rather - make those around them suffer) are immune to the lack of humor and NEED for continuous adulation -- because they, themselves, have narcissism OR are codependent (continuous need to support others).

Narcissist quiet individuals with opposing views because they cannot discern opposing opinions from personal attacks. They are one in the same.

All in all it is a perfect recipe for a dictator.

He doesn't see himself as being trolled. That's the problem. Narcissism is a condition where the individual is incapable of admitting they are flawed. They are motivated by the admiration of others - it doesn't matter if it's 2 or 2 million.

Why does he keep his twitter? Because he's a narcissistic attention whore and he needs it to stroke his ego. It's also his tool to bully people and keep his idiot supporters on his side.
