What do you know about Machiavelli?

He wasn't a bad guy, just very bright. His name gets used in a negative way now but it wasn't intended to be.

A devious person if I recall correctly.

I think he was a a person who was able to see past the sort of pretty fantasies we all prefer to accept as truth and was smart enough to write down how a prince should act to take advantage of the way republican governments operate

He wrote a book about a journey that wasn't exactly a tourist trip. 😂

Mostly I know about his book, [i]The Prince[/i]. It enjoyed some popularity in 1980s among so-called corporate raiders because of its understanding of politics and diplomacy, some applicable in that world.
