President Obama should issue Mrs Clinton a blanket pardon tomorrow.

.. keep her in suspense until the last minute however doing so will prevent Mrs C from being a distraction and keep her out of public life. Mrs C will end up disgraced and withdrawn like President Nixon. Mrs C has a longer list of wrongs haunting her than President Nixon ever did.

Interesting problem, actually since a pardon would imply that Clinton committed crimes. Personally, I would not pardon her. I'd rather see her squirm wondering what will happen. Obama could do it now before he leaves.

@Jackjjacksonjr: I'm actually not worried about Clinton. She lost, and she's been exposed. The Clinton influence is gone and I don't expect her to be a gadfly. I'm more concerned with Obama. Unlike other ex-President's, I think he will attempt to criticize the Trump administration.

@HoraceGreenley: I suspect he will be careful to make sure he looks like a fantastic former president. The legacy is his number one priority now.

I don't think obama will pardon her because they have invested way too much in denying she's done anything wrong. Never mind that we all heard the FBI director make an excellent case against her just before he said he was not recommending charges. I would like nothing more than to see her spend some time in prison but I'm satisfied that she will never achieve her life's goal, becoming president.

@Jackjjacksonjr: yep, she knows things

@Shattered: she doesn't want to add to the Clinton body count well perhaps little Tony ......

@Jackjjacksonjr: Yeah, he's no loss. I mean doesn't everyone want to get rid of him.

After all the other pardons and commutations, maybe Obama's hand is too tired to pardon her?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Surely he has a signature stamp
KnuckleDragger · 56-60, M
@Jackjjacksonjr: That stamp earned its pay this week!

@KnuckleDragger: i suspect it hadn't been retired and will be busy until the last minute.

Probably a good idea, the Clinton's are very adept at avoiding paying for their sins.

Suffering in isolation is the perfect punishment for an attention whore. Why waste taxpayer dollars on Mrs C?
curiosi · 61-69, F
@Jackjjacksonjr: Can't argue with that!

Yea, I thought one would come at the 11th hour. But then, whatever he pardoned her for was likely a family affair. Like how many people knew or should have known that classified information was on the same portable computer that Anthony Wiener was using for sexting? So Obama couldn't just pardon Hillary without at the same time hanging a "prosecute me!" sign on Bill and a half dozen others.

I think it will be a while before this chapter closes.

Seems to me like both Weiner's should fry

Clinton considered doing it but did not. It would make for an interesting issue, but no President has done it.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@HoraceGreenley: Mr Trump won't face that issue. He will do a fantastic job.

@Jackjjacksonjr: I agree. I was merely considering the question hypothetically.
