What's the biggest issue facing the U.K. Internally?

how do we feel about the PM? The Monarchy? Prince Charles?
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
You mean other than a flatlined economy; a government dragging it's feet over the withdrawal from the E:U; shocking lack of funding for any inner-city area re-development let alone whatever mess the countryside will be in when food prices hit the roof once the dust settles on the Europe debacle ?

@HairyBallSack1: no surprise at all the Charles is a confirmed perv. The story should be published everywhere.

Think Charles is running out of time so it may go to William, although there is talk of a referendum on getting rid of the monarchy after Lizzy dies. Teresa May is just a typical Tory. Don't think she has the support Cameron had but Corbyn is undermined by his MPs too much for him to mount a challenge. Biggest thing right now is when article 50 will be triggered and we will start the process for leaving the EU. There's also the possibility of a second Scottish referendum (hopefully I won't be from the UK much longer). Plus the English and maybe the Welsh NHS is in "crisis" as the Tories continue to dismantle it and try to privatise more and more.

What's the best thing about Scotland leaving the U.K.?
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
@Jackjjacksonjr: For me it's not getting the Tories when we never vote for them but even if we were to vote them it would be us doing it. Not a nation that is similar in many ways but I see as different to mine. Plus we our oil would no longer be squandered.

Actually today May has indicated it will be a "hard Brexit" and the Scottish parliament just voted overwhelmingly to protect Scotland's place in the single market at all costs. Appears to be getting closer.

Brexit, housing the NHS crisis and inequality
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
What's your plan for fixing these problems?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Jackjjacksonjr: Massively overhaul the economy in favour of the public good

Sorry but there is too much to deal with in one go. Its like asking how to solve all America's problems

Does the royal family even do anything for the country? I really don't know :/
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
They take a lot of money right? Do they pay taxes?
Socialclutz · 36-40, M
They collect money from the citizens tax? Or are they basically trust fund babies?
Bluejewel · 31-35, F
Either way we are fucked.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
How so? Please elaborate.
Bluejewel · 31-35, F
@Jackjjacksonjr: The soap opera that is the UK. We are all third rate citizens and treated as such. Jobs are rubbed out, downgraded or dumbed down. If anyone has a job and they have to commute by train it's around £1,200 a year. Governments and corporations are now like corrupt religions. I saw a documentary on the 70's not long ago with old PM Callaghan saying that if he were a young man her would emigrate. I wonder what he would say now? Does any politician actually see the gulf between opportunities for those born well off (as in Queenie, Charlie and the silver spoon brigade, ect) and the rest of us and actually admit it? If anyone still has faith in Britain I salute them. I'd rather be on crack.

@Bluejewel: perhaps it's a good time to consider moving ??
