What are your opinions on the UK Labour Party?

Total shambles !
Totally forgotten that it's supposed to be supporting those who work for a living.
Has no idea what it's image is these days whether it's supposed to be Blairite or socialist.
Has a leader most didn't want who's taken to posting on Facebook rather than getting out there and asking folk what makes their lives difficult; what THEY want to see change in the country.
Directionless.

@Burnley123: I have absolutely nothing but respect for Jeremy Corbyn.
I've heard him speak publicly many times and find him to be the most knowledgeable man.
But for the love of god, whoever is advising him needs shooting !!
When he stands at the dispatch box, he NEEDS to come across as a potential world leader ! A man who REALLY wants the job ! Develop some gravitas ! Not like something of a refugee from the Ken Livingstone/ Derek Hatton era. Which i fear is what puts many off !

@Picklebobble2: Yes. For me the Corbyn thing is a big deal because I have always been highly politicised and left wing but never had a real option to vote for. Its what he represents that made me join the party.

I he is utterly genuine but not a skillful politician like say Bernie Sanders. We also have problems with the divided party and JC is not saying much on Brexit because of that. Its tough but he needs to do more or this opportunity will be wasted and Labour could go back to the right.

I agree. I know many fear he has a leftist leaning, based more on the Labour of old rather than the more modern outlook.
Which, again. I've no objection to, in principal at least !
But he REALLY needs to start letting folk know EXACTLY what he's about.
He needs to start giving the Conservatives a real kicking in areas of policy and economics.
I thought i had a tough time watching 4 successive Tory party election wins on the spin back in the 80's.
Having to endure all that Thatcher nonsense for so long.
But i really fear for folk of your age and younger if we can't get a Labour government with real policy and ideals!!
