Could you say "Hail Trump" and pop a Nazi-like salute?

Poll - Total Votes: 10
Just the Alt Right Party, leave it alone.
I wouldn't do that but Trump has to deal with this
Very concerned about anything that looks Fascist
This is problem enough that it will polarize the nation

Watching CNN tonight where they captured on video
An Alt right meeting (Bannon is a member of this group)
And during the meeting at least 1/4 of the people were popping out Nazi salutes and yelling "Hail Trump"!

Would that be an issue with you?

There is nothing funny or cute about any of this. Im German and Cree. I had relatives on BOTH sides in the War. On the German side was a Sturmbanfueher Waffen SS. I do not denounce him. But. I am not at ALL good with the underlying policies of the conflict. It is NOT child's play. Those who think playing with fire is a game. Are moronic idiots.

I agree that fascist extremists are playing with a fire that catches on.

@Pfuzylogic: Hitler rose to power through theatrical speeches to the ignorant desperate masses.
I hope they do it and that people die and then we can point fingers

..you hope people die...what..
@JessicaK: people only take things seriously after people die

@DestructivePersona: Ah, I guess we just disagree.

@Pfuzylogic: okay, but they're clearly not nazis. Milo is literally everything the nazis hated, and he's a figurehead of the alt-right. He's basically been the face of Breitbart and all that.
By the way, I'm not saying this stuff as if I like him. I don't. I'm just saying that this sort of thing is not realistic.

@Pseudonym: Nazis or not this was not a joke and is not in any way funny and people who do this should actually be prosecuted for HATE speech.

This was actually not a joke and was taken from a video of a meeting of white nationalists who did pull out Hail Trumps and meant it exactly how it was meant when used by Nazi's. The entire speech given was all about how Trump was going to help them get "their America" back. Please,if you cannot bother to watch the video or go find information for yourself then do not come commenting on a post and claiming something so assinine and digusting is "just a joke"...this line of thinking is VERY real...and MORE COMMON than you might want to believe..but maybe you should open your eyes a bit more.

@JaggedLittlePill @Pseudonym:

I was on another app where young adults joked about flipping Nazi salutes between them. Most movements that are dangerous cover it up by joking.

She, the young adult, also gave an extensive defense of AllLivesMatter by attacking the angst of anger of a young black girl because she didn't know what her anger was from.

It has always appalled me that Neo-Naziism would see this second breath and that WW2 would have made it obvious that there were no merits in genicide.

the fact that my heritage is what it is makes this question more uncomfortable than usual

I am German even Amish. I find this to be important enough to confront in a discussion forum.

@NearMiss: My grandfather was raised Amish and changed denominations. I was raised Lutheran but the family that immigrated here in 1800 was Amish.
