@PsychoMantis: Experimentation does seem to be a key feature of human behaviour.

It's resulted in so many wonderful things. Some beneficial, some destructive.

Just piddling around with stuff has made us what we are.

early scientists called alchemists and natural healers did exist. but it was very dangerous to be either. they were both considered to be practicing witchcraft.
