Does a brexiteer change their mind?

I am remain voter. The country has voted we have to now execute and no goinv on the will of the majority.

Question for the those who voted out... do you have any doubts seeing your holidays go up 20%, food going up and soon the pension pot decreasing.
Its not an argument as the decision has been made. Just wondering if anyone would change their mind now they see the start of the impact.

In what way has being IN the bloody thing given either you or I any advantage ?
Seriously !
Are we paying LESS for our mortgages ?
Have food prices dropped to any significant levels ?
Are our elderly folk better housed; fed; medicated; living better because we're IN the E:U. ?
Are our retirees living as well as their predecessors ?
Do we pay cheaper prices for ANYTHING here at home ? And before you even THINK about that. Check out the cost of buying a little two door Fiesta in Belgium, then figure out why we pay MORE for the same car made HERE !!!!!
If this country had spent a little more time looking after it's own rather than being desperate to join the France/Germany show, if ANY of our governments over the last twenty years had done their homework on future costs with regard to pensions, healthcare, housing, killing nationalised industry,etc how much better off would your children be today ???
The current thinking for Europe is fine.
PROVIDED you have bloody great car plants that employ MILLIONS.
Which of course, we don't.!
It's fine if you produce your own energy.
Which of course, we don't !
And our contribution to the European ideal ?.....Take your time, I'll wait !
Oh yes ! We were the fifth largest contributor to the E:U budget !!!!
Too many years of Thatcher government killed this countries industry long before the creation of the E:U.
Labours stupidity during the 80's making them unelectable killed this country long before the E:U.
And now we're watching it all happen again !

I think regardless of whether people voted in or out, I agree that we've been fucked for a long time. Thatcher, Reagan and the neoliberal ideology that they implemented are the culprits. We're living in an economic system that failed in 2008 and nothing has been done to fix it.

@Picklebobble: Yeah, I work for a labour run county council in an old people's home and I was told that when a conservative government is at the helm their budget is cut by 70%.

I voted out, most people didn't like being told what to do and if others want to punish us then that's their problem.

It not their problem, it is ours if their concequences work. However I doubt it will have much of an effect for very long.

@guriinii have you taken a overseas holiday yet? I've been hit twice now with having to pay an extra 20% for hotels. Im going to pay upfront now to hedge my costs

@Justanotherguy: yes, but it was all paid for before the vote and I changed my euros early too. I didn't spend that much while there and actually made profit on the euros I changed back haha.. Worked out great for me.
