Hogwash! I've been eating raw cookie dough for years without any problems. Well except for the time I ate that stuff in the tube after it was in the car overnight
I wonder what putting raw flax meal in the dough would do to the flavor? I have used it in kamut meal pancakes, the recipe doesn't call for an egg but they needed something to bind the batter together so I use about a Tablespoon of flax meal and they hold together nicely. Would do the same for cookie dough.
Yes patti, I make peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough. And eat it. I add all but the eggs, and eat it raw. Tastes fine. Cooks up kind of hard without the eggs, but, I never save the leftovers. I bake the left over dough, and serve it up with cold milk for dipping. The kids like it.
I read a story back in the 90's about Chinese feeding aborted babies to dogs and then butchering the dogs when they were grown and selling the dog meat to people to eat. I remember that because my daughter had a summer school English assignment to make a display showing example of "yellow journalism"...she didn't think it was true but there was a Chinese girl in her class and she told her "There's nothing wrong with that." Yikes...
When some one gives advice on diet look very carefully at them. If they look trim and in good health they may be worth listening to. If they are 400lb and in bad health laugh in their face and move on.😸
