I Broke A Chair Because Of My Weight
.. and got money for it :) When riding through the City by bicycle I was stopped by a Lady right for some shops with the words "you are just perfect!" She eyed my body and asked if Im interested to earn some Money without doing much. I asked why not, what do I have to do?
She asked me to follow and pointed on a furniture store. We are looking for persons to test our new chairs, the designer said, they are made for at least 300 lbs. I said, Im very Close to 380lbs! She smiled and said: I saw your battered nearly flat tires, I thought you're far over 300lbs. I want to see your weight on our chairs. As we went into the shop I saw a circle of 10 chairs. In my eyes not very robust and pretty small. She asked if Im ready.. I asked if she is sure. Ok, lets go..
The first three chairs were really convenient, no noise of overload and enough place for my butt. The 4th was a plastic arm chair, very small, I pressed my hips between the arms and felt it all deforming when I put my butt down on the seat. The 4 legs were bended and suddenly the right back lag broke, but I didnt fall. As I stood up, the arms were still surrounding my belly. Very funny. Chair number 5,6,7,8 and 10 survived. Number 9 was also quite convenient until I leant against the backrest .. not a second and the back of the chair was gone, including the back legs.. So finally I broke two chairs, the lady seemed to be satisfied, gave me the pay (not bad) and ask me to contact again for further tests.
Then I continued the ride with a good mood and some extra money..
