would you marry someone alot older than you [I Am In An Age Gap Marriage]

I am 45 and my husband is 72.

Its going well and thanks for the support and comments so far. There are no doubts about me been or even marrying him. I was just meaning a lot of other people do

I am also married to an older man, although the age difference in our marriage is not that big as yours. My husband is 58, I am 36.

well at the end of the day no one can judge you or your life.. it isnt their place.. however there are things that people will say that are true.. and that would be things like that he will die or become infirm/unwell and you will have to look after him.. if that's cool with you thats fine... I dont mean to be hurtful tho, but just read you are pregnant.. apart from the dangers re genes as he is a much older man my only thought would be that he wont be around to actively raise the baby into adulthood, the child will suffer teasing and I suppose i just worry and hope you will be left financially secure when he dies as you will be left to raise the kids yourself

Whether it works for you or not is all that counts. What others think is irrelevant. They are not living your life. I hope it does work for both of you. 😊

You're both over 21, it's not for anyone else TO agree or disagree with. As long as you're both happy, it's good. Love is hard enough to find. Just my two cents. 🙂

Actually, I already did. When my late wife and I got married she was 72 and I was 32. She was a true partner in every sense of the word and my other half. We read each others minds constantly.

If I was younger I would most defiantly marry someone older ... Life is about being with someone that enjoys the same things as you... and if you can still do them then hold on and go for the gold ,,,,

As long as your eyes are open to the likelihood he will let pass before you and the impact that will have with others in your life like kids if they happen ......

Sex, fine but marriage, probably not. As my body would generally be on a rise, theirs would be on a decline. I don't want to outlive my spouse by such an extreme margin.

I can't really comment since our age gap is exactly 14 months to the day. 😊

at my age there aren't a lot of people a lot older than I am, so, I would have to pass. 😋
