If your father loves you very much, but abuses your mother, degrades her, has emotionally broken her, told the world he doesn't give a shit about her,

Is a barrier to buying cupboards and then complains about the mess, never gave her space, told her she's the servant, laughed at her and always told her she's stupid, completely broken her, been a doctor and still not given her proper medicine nor taken her to the doctor, and she is living in pain....what would your behaviour be towards your father?

That's horrible and to abuse your mother is one of the worst things he can do to his children...I witnessed abuse to my mother and it hurt me more emotionally than when he beat me...I got hysterical and felt like I left my body.

What I figured was the typical story, the woman he loved got married to another man (apparently his friend, but I'm not sure) but in his time society pressed on marriage, so he destroyed a very VERY beautiful and capable woman for the sake of an agreeable label. But I've only seen my mom cry twice in her entire life. She's so strong she will hold back her tears in front of her daughters.
