Just looking through my record collection and I notice Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Variations' , is 39 years old this year.
Wow ! I remember hearing track one and liking it so much I had to go out and order it !
Track one was used as the theme music to the long running Sunday night arts programme The South Bank Show in the UK, if you want a reference.
Interesting how many other tracks were used for other television programmes over the last 40 years !
All this from a guy who wanted to give his little brother something special for his birthday all those years ago.
