Will Trainspotting 2 be as good as or better than the first?

I haven't been this excited for a film in a long time.

I am nearly peeing my self in anticipation as Trainspotting in my opinion is the greatest movie ever made .
It's released tomorrow and I think it'll be brilliant .
Nothing about Trainspotting has ever been wrong from the book to the soundtrack.

It is getting good but not rave reviews. Difficult to be that good again, also so much of that film is about that age, time, culture etc it was so of the moment then. That'll be the missing bit I suspect.

@thatscottishguy: No need to be disrespectful ... I always enjoy British movies and TV series. It is my opinion that the British are, and have been, constant producers of excellent movies, etc.
