I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

First, let me say thank you for all that you at SW have completed already.

However, something should be done regarding the messaging ability between some members. There are several people with similar interests, similar ages , etc that have no "send message" option .
It appears to be completely random.

If they have no send message icon, it is their account settings. Their choice to not allow incoming messages. SW didn't do that.

@Serenitree I still hang around with people 15-17 so yes, maybe when i am 20+ i may want to hang around with older people, besides i have not used SW for at least a year. it was just luck that i logged on today to tell people what i have been up to on my latest post

@Clarkson I hope you've had a good year, and I don't think it's a bad thing to not want to rush into adulting. Hanging onto youthful activities is great. You have a lot of decades to be older, but this is as young as you're ever going to be. So, enjoy.

I still think you're missing out, though. Some older people can be fun to know, helpful, understanding and caring.

But, it's okay. We aren't going anywhere. There will always be older people, even when you're 90, there will be older people around.

Enjoy life. Stay young and have fun.

Okay, not being fully in the loop, I could easily be wrong. Perhaps one of the admin or mods could explain it better.
There is also something called reputation, on here, that has to do with online behaviour. You earn more privileges, as time goes on, if your behaviour warrants it. One of those privileges has to do with who you can pm with. I don't understand the system, it has to do with algorithms. Way over met head.

It has nothing to do with settings. I do not have my settings set on any restrictions, and yet there are friends who do not have a "send message" option when they pull up MY profile either
