I Am Not Like Others My Age
People seen to think all 16 year old girls care about is make up and boys. Well I Dont wear makeup and I have my guy. So yes I'm interested in other stuff.

I don't know anyone who thinks 16 year old girls only care about make up and boys. In fact, I hear more 16 year olds talk about how they're 'different' from other girls WAY more than anything else, so you're just fitting the stereotype I already hear the most... If you're not like others your age, why feel the need to make a post about it, convincing others that you're not?

Because I'm tired people talking to me like that is all I should care about. I think it's more like they expect them to be immature and childish. Not looking at the world and follow things like politics or have opinions on important things

Unfortunately society has labelled teens like that. I teach 14-18 year old teens and they are amazing. I learn new things from them every single day!

@sassygirl15: Yes, parents do take great part. However, I believe it is all about the choice you make in life. It is easier to blame others if you fuck up, but you need to ask yourself, whose life are you living? yours or theirs? YOUR life YOUR CONTROL! :)
